Greenery for an Inspiring Office Environment

De Rooi Pannen is an educational institution offering vocational and professional courses in trade, tourism, design, and marketing. The school is renowned for its practical, hands-on approach, where students learn in an environment closely aligned with real-world professional settings.

Greenery for Ambiance and Functionality

As part of a refurbishment of several office spaces, we were tasked with creating a green interior that would enhance both the atmosphere and usability of the offices. The challenge was that the original layouts felt cramped, with numerous partitions and furniture limiting the sense of space. The goal was to introduce open workspaces featuring warm colours, natural materials, and a strong connection to greenery.

From Concept to Completion

Working closely with the project manager, we reviewed mood boards and pinpointed where greenery could be integrated into the floor plans. From there, a tailored planting scheme was developed, perfectly matching the vision and character of the office spaces.

Robust planters were selected, suitable for placement on cabinets or the floor. Large plants create a striking green presence while subtly defining separate work areas.

The Result

The offices have been transformed into open, inviting workspaces where greenery, natural materials, and warm colour accents come together to create a harmonious and comfortable environment. The plants provide structure, encourage a sense of calm, and amplify the feeling of openness throughout the space.
