Genmab is a publicly traded international biotechnology company specializing in the development of antibody therapies. Driven by significant company growth, a relocation to new premises became necessary. Several commercial plant suppliers were invited to present their concepts, with our translation of the brief securing the winning design.
Greenery as a unifying element
A key aspect of the project was ensuring the interior landscaping scheme seamlessly complemented the design vision of architecture firm Cepezed. Working closely with Genmab's project team, we carefully selected trees to align perfectly with the sleek aesthetic of the indoor atrium.
From design to delivery
The building's impressive ceiling heights allowed full advantage to be taken of vertical planting, creating an immersive green experience. The design balances functionality with aesthetics, delivering a high-end, natural atmosphere that reflects Genmab's brand identity.
The result
The new premises provide employees and visitors with an impressive green environment where structure, spatial tranquility, and aesthetics converge. The atrium exudes a contemporary dynamism, reinforcing the experience of Genmab's innovative character.
Research by Ambius and the University of Technology Sydney shows that, under controlled conditions, plants interact with volatile organic compounds such as petrol fumes.
In collaboration with the University of Groningen, Ambius discovered that workplace plants contribute to higher satisfaction, improved concentration, and positive support during daily task execution.
Research by Wageningen Environmental Research indicates that plants enhance the workplace experience, increase relative humidity, and support overall working comfort.
We make targeted choices in materials, production, and transport to gradually reduce the environmental impact of our operations.
