Clean drinking water for all
While clean drinking water is a given for many, millions around the world still lack access to this vital resource. The absence of safe water profoundly impacts their health and everyday life. Since 2018, we have proudly partnered with Made Blue, an organization committed to delivering clean drinking water to communities that need it most.
Our responsibility in action
We believe that small actions can create a big impact, for both our customers and communities in developing countries. By integrating our daily operations with tangible efforts to improve access to clean drinking water, we take responsibility for the world around us. Initiatives like liter-for-liter and tree-for-tree directly support this mission.
Liter for a liter
For every liter of water we use to care for plants at our customers’ locations, we donate one liter of clean drinking water to communities in developing countries. That means each plant pot provides 70 liters of clean water to those who need it most.
Tree for a tree
Every year during the holiday season, we create an extra special experience. For every Christmas tree rented from Ambius, we donate the equivalent of 2,000 liters of water — the amount a tree needs to grow, take root, and thrive.
Our impact
With the support of our customers, Ambius has made a meaningful contribution to ensuring clean drinking water for many. To date, we have donated over 172 million liters of clean water, including more than 16 million liters in 2025 alone. This provides at least 2,362 people with safe drinking water for a decade. A milestone we are proud to share.
Our efforts extend beyond clean water access. By reducing the need for cooking over open fires, we help lower COâ‚‚ emissions and air pollution, protect forests, and reduce plastic waste by limiting dependence on bottled water. Together, these actions contribute to a healthier planet and improved quality of life.
Through this contribution to clean drinking water, we actively support SDG 6: Clean Water and Sanitation for all, one of the United Nations’ key Sustainable Development Goals. This goal focuses on ensuring universal access to safe and affordable drinking water and sanitation, while promoting sustainable water management.
