Sustainability is an integral part of our service. Ambius ensures sustainability throughout the entire lifecycle of our plants - from cultivation and procurement to maintenance, reuse, and composting.
Ambius partners with Made Blue to offset the water used in plant care by supporting clean water projects in developing countries. One liter for one liter: every Ambius planter directly contributes to investments in drinking water initiatives.
Our electric vehicle fleet plays a vital role in making our transportation processes more sustainable. By using electric vehicles, we reduce our CO2 emissions and actively contribute to a greener future.
Our greenhouse and office operate entirely on renewable energy. We utilize sustainable sources and innovative technologies to work efficiently while minimizing our environmental impact.
With our own greenhouse, we maintain full control over the growing conditions of our plants. This allows us to work efficiently, reduce waste, and optimize cultivation in a sustainable way.
By using biological pest control, we manage pests naturally. This reduces reliance on harmful chemicals, protects the environment, and supports a healthier, more sustainable ecosystem.
We are committed to sustainability by carefully sorting and processing waste. Organic materials are composted and reused, while plastics, paper, and glass are recycled.
As part of Rentokil Initial, Ambius has been a member of the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSWI) for eight years. This places us among the top 10% of companies worldwide in sustainability and responsible business practices.
Ambius collaborates with the Sustainable FM Coalition to promote sustainable facility management, develop innovative solutions, create eco-friendly work environments, and actively contribute to the transition toward greener processes.
Ambius clothing is made from recycled PET bottles. When the garments are worn out or no longer wearable, they are collected and sent back to the supplier, who transforms them into new products such as insulation materials and picnic tables made from recycled materials.
Plants that are returned and still suitable receive a second life through our Green Return programme. In our greenhouse, they are carefully tended, pruned, nourished, and refurbished before being redeployed in other projects.
