Interior planting for government and the public sector

Greenery in public-sector buildings creates an inviting, open and representative aesthetic. It brings visual calm to public reception areas and waiting rooms, dampens disruptive ambient noise, and fosters an enjoyable workplace atmosphere that supports employee engagement.

Interior planting provides an immediate, tangible expression of your responsible corporate policies to visitors and staff alike. Ambius supports this by offering planters made from recycled materials, plant stock from certified growers, and resource-conscious maintenance methods. This ensures your planting schemes align closely with the environmental criteria of your CSR and ESG frameworks.

In public corridors and main concourses, we choose hardy, resilient plants with tough foliage that will not easily break if brushed past. Options include Aglaonema, Monstera, Aspidistra, and Scindapsus. These species maintain their aesthetic value even under intensive use.

Yes, absolutely. Large leaf surface areas along with the substrate absorb sound waves and significantly reduce reverberation. Vertical green walls and tall, densely planted containers are particularly effective at combating echo in high, hard-surfaced public halls.

Our service teams are fully accustomed to working in secure environments. They hold the necessary security clearances, wear clear branded workwear, and adhere strictly to your internal protocols, visitor registration procedures, and safety regulations.

Placing bespoke planters between counters or consultation desks creates a natural visual and acoustic barrier. This prevents waiting visitors from overhearing or overlooking sensitive information, protecting citizen privacy and giving staff a safer, more comfortable workspace.
